If you're going to keep a baseball bat for protection, for legal reasons keep a baseball mitt and a ball as well. Same goes for a truck gun. For legal reasons I keep targets and a box of ammo with ear plugs so it doesn't look weird in court god forbid I have to use it too protect myself and or others

You need a reaction rod to avoid damage to the upper where the barrel alignment pin fits in….

On proportions, why not use a scale with a cover of wax paper? Match weights then scrape off into the mixing bowl. This would allow for consistent measures of the epoxies.

I work on aircraft. A 737 has a 150 FT/LB final torque on the axle nut. A 3/4 drive torque wrench is used to break it loose routinely and the torque wrenches withstand it no problem. A recreational user assembling gun parts will not wear out their torque wrench breaking a few barrel nuts with one.

Though I understand your reasoning for the brown tint to the Acraglas, the video I watched just prior to this one made a statement about why you don't use brown tint in your Acraglas when making a repair, as it looks like someone used peanut butter or some other substance. Been meaning to bed a rifle or 2 here, just haven't gotten to it yet.

I can appreciate folks going above and beyond to take care of their firearms but in reality a lot of this extra work is not needed. I’ve been using ballistol on all my firearms going on 6 years now and not one of them has rust, always performed flawlessly and always stood clean even with they was stored for long periods of time. I’m sure it’s also not required but as for my going the extra mile mark, I always give them a quick clean after every use rather than letting the gun power and carbon rest on the gun for days, weeks or even months. A simple spray and wipe down on the frame and inside the barrel will do just fine But if a full teardown and deep cleaning is your thing, then have at it as long as you enjoy doing the maintenance!

Caleb, this was excellent. As one of the last of a dying breed who actually works with their hands to make a living, I do have a suggestion. The single edge razor blade sucks for what you were using it for. Get an Olfa knife. It has little snap-off blades. It is NOT a boxcutter. An Olfa knife is a precision instrument, designed for finesse work. I am a window tinter, and I would put my knife skills up against any surgeon and win. After over 30 years, the knife becomes an extension of your hand and your brain.

I own a new Saint Victor Law Enforcement Tactical with this device that was installed by Springfield Armory prior to me purchasing it. The problem is the bolt carrier extension appears to be slightly to long as when closing the stock from the folded to the closed position it catches and will not close without manual thumb pressure to properly align the carrier extension so it will close and lock in place. I have contacted the company and explained to problem and ent pictures. The extension is seated as far as it will go.
